Media screw ups 2012

Being right in the news industry seems to have taken the back seat to being first with releasing information to its viewers. Every year, the Poynter Institute holds news outlets accountable for broadcasting misinformation and claims their mission is to assure the community has access to excellent journalism. Poynter has released “The Best (and Worst) Media Errors and corrections of 2012,” and Christoper Chambers, a journalism professor at Georgetown University, joins us to take a look back on the major mistakes of 2012
