Mohamed Morsi sworn in as Egypt’s president

Mohamed Morsi has been sworn in by Egypt’s highest court as the country’s first freely elected president, succeeding Hosni Mubarak who was toppled 16 months ago.
He took the oath on Saturday before the Supreme Constitutional Court in their courthouse near the Nile River built to resemble an ancient Egyptian temple.

Anonymous Street Artist Adds Photoshop Toolbar to H&M Billboards
Last week an unknown street artist pasted Photoshop toolbars to several H&M billboards in Hamburg, Germany. The humourous adbust was spotted by blogger I’m Not Alex Bogusky on Tumblr. The ads in question show bikini-clad Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana, who is no doubt beautiful but certainly not this bronze…
But everyone knows photos (especially for the fashion and beauty industry) are touched up and manipulated don’t they? Regardless, it’s worth a chuckle and it’s interesting to see the ascent of Photoshop which is synonymous with digital editing and photo manipulation.

Earlier this year the US government seized MegaUpload founder Kim Dotcom’s assets after his website was accused of facilitating copyright infringement. The New Zealander’s home was raided, his website taken down and he was taken into custody. However, New Zealand courts have ruled that the raid was illegal and search warrants were too vague. Older women can now get pregnant after menopause with the help of a method of test-tube fertilization that bypasses one of the seemingly absolute barriers of biology.
With this technique, doctors remove eggs from a healthy donor, fertilize them in a lab dish with sperm and then implant them in the infertile woman’s womb.
